"Fay was a huge help to both me and my partner in enabling us to prepare for a calm and natural birth for our second child. She played a vital role in giving us both the confidence to see childbirth as a natural and joyful experience, and to choose a homebirth free from drugs and intervention for the benefit of all our family including its’ newest member!

She was extremely perceptive from our first meeting in understanding where we most needed support and guidance, which she gave unconditionally. She had good knowledge of local support networks and a fantastic lending library!

The knowledge that she was there when we needed her gave us both an experience we can look back on with great pleasure. It is an experience every woman should have, and we are both very thankful that Fay was there to give us the reassurance and support we needed to make it happen. She was the calm and reassuring presence both my partner and myself needed.

Fay was a brilliant source of support for the whole family, and I believe every woman should have access to a doula who can guide them to a birth process as natural as possible."

"I contacted Fay after a lady I met in a supermarket highly recommended her! I was already 29weeks pregnant and was not enjoying the pregnancy or looking forward to giving birth due to a traumatic birth with my daughter 3 years previously.

We met Fay and everything changed, she was obviously very experienced and passionate about supporting expectant parents, and we started to feel positive about this pregnancy for the first time, Fay was always available for any support we needed from her, and she gave us the information we needed to make informed decisions about the birth. She was non-judgemental and gave us the confidence to plan for the birth we wanted. She loaned us some wonderful books and a birthing pool, and gave us the skills to manage labour as naturally as possible. due to her calm presence and perfect support we had a wonderful, intervention free, drug free homebirth!
